Anime Expo 2019 & Their Exclusives!

It’s getting to be that time, y’all… That time where you get together with your pals to watch fireworks take over the sky in celebration of the biggest event of the summer. That’s right… ✨ANIME EXPO✨! July 4th is quickly approaching, and so is the biggest anime convention in the US! And as the biggest convention, not only will it hold world premieres and exclusive events, but there are those sweet, sweet convention exclusive items you can ONLY buy at Anime Expo.

 

But what kind of exclusives will we see there? And which booths will you be able to buy them from? Worry not, dear readers; this is your handy dandy guide to Anime Expo exclusives along with other essential info for attendees. I’ve done these guides for 2015, 2016, 2017, and now I’m back for 2019! Let’s see what goodies we can expect for this year’s Anime Expo!

 

NOTE: Keep in mind that at this time many companies exhibiting at Anime Expo have yet to reveal their sales menu, so this post will be updated many times as more info gets revealed. Some of the info appear as close to the event as possible, so keep checking back for the latest news!

Gift, Their Comiket 88 Exclusives And More!

Gift is no stranger to having exclusives, whether it’s on their webshop or in several events in Japan. This time, they’ll have a booth at Comiket 88, and they’ll have plenty of goodies for attendees to purchase. I’m going to be focusing on the cute plushies that they’ll have at the event. Anime Expo 2015 and Their Exclusives!

It’s time to get excited: Anime Expo is upon us! Anime Expo tends to have several exclusive items that people can buy from certain booths in the convention’s dealer’s room, along with having exclusive events that people can attend. Gift’s Early Summer Campaign!

Gift tweeted early yesterday that they will be holding an online sale event called the Early Summer Campain. The event will be open online from May 15th to May 25th, where people will be able to purchase select exclusive goods from Gift. If you spend over 10,000 yen, shipping will be free, which is pretty nice. This event introduces some new items that haven’t been available before along with some re-releases, so if you’re a fan of Gift’s plushies, it’s worth it to order some of their webshop-exclusive plushies!

There are plenty of items to choose from, but these are the ones I think are worth noting!

Cynthia Nendoroid Announced!

So if you were lucky enough to get the elusive Pokemon Trainer Red nendoroid, here’s a piece of news that’ll get you going! The official Japanese Pokemon site announced today that there will be a Cynthia nendoroid! It’ll come bundled with a Garchomp, of course!

Amazon.jp and the Pokemon Center stores in Japan will start to take orders from 3/7 to 4/15. The nendoroid will be released this summer on 7/25. The exclusivity may make you cringe and cry, but Sunyshore has the nendoroid up for order! But you better act quick, since there are only 200 spots open. Will you be picking up cute champion Cynthia and her Garchomp this summer?
