Gift is no stranger to having exclusives, whether it’s on their webshop or in several events in Japan. This time, they’ll have a booth at Comiket 88, and they’ll have plenty of goodies for attendees to purchase. I’m going to be focusing on the cute plushies that they’ll have at the event. Let’s see what cute plushies they’ll have for us!

Starting off with items from the Nisemonogatari series is the Shinobu plush. She’s even holding a rainbow-sprinkled, chocolate-frosted doughnut! It’ll most likely be detachable, given how Gift have done their plushies before. The bows really stand out and make the plush look completely adorable!

You can choose to purchase the plush by itself for 3,200 yen, or you can buy a set that includes a really cute straw hat accessory to go with it for 4,000 yen. It really looks like the straw hat completes the look of the plush!

Next up, we have the Hitagi plush. Gift previously released a Hitagi plush before for the Bakemonogatari series, so it’s really nice that they’re releasing Hitagi with her newer look. Her smiling expression and her short hair really suits her; she looks great! If you purchase the plush, you’ll get a Hitagi pin along with it. The Hitagi plush will be sold for 3,000 yen at the event.

From Touhou Project, here we have the Remilia Scarlet plush, who gets a whole new look this time. As if the previous Remilia plush that Gift released wasn’t cute enough for you, this one looks even more adorable with all the frills on her dress! If you purchase the plush, you’ll get a pin along with it, just like the Hitagi plush. The Remilia plush will be sold for 3,500 yen at the event.
Along with these adorable plushies, Gift will have many other items for purchase. From the Nisemonogatari series, they’ll have the A Doughnuts Lover Set. They’ll also have some acrylic keychains for sale. From this year’s Racing Miku design, Gift will have Racing Miku Set. Gift will also have several items from the Idolmaster Cinderella Girls series, like these acrylic keychains, fans, and a mug. There’s also two sets: the Rosenburg Engel Set, and the Love Laika Set. Also, there will be additional Touhou Project items, like these acrylic keychains, and the Touhou Project The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil Set.
With these many items, Gift will be real busy at their booth! However, they’re not done announcing what items they’ll have for sale. On the 24th, there will be more announcements on their website. Also, keep in mind that the plushies sold at this event will likely make it to Gift’s webshop some time later after the events they’ve been sold at, so more people will have a chance to get their hands on the exclusive plushies.

Another exciting plush that Gift is releasing is the Hozuki Hokkaido Vacation version plush. A hard-working demon needs some rest too, right? I really like the detail of the white towel around his neck! And the straw hat really does complete his look. This plush will be sold exclusively at Noboribetsu during an event. As of right now, it’s unknown whether Gift will have this plush for sale in their webshop; for now, it’s listed that there are no plans for a general release, but keep your fingers crossed!

Probably the most exciting news is that Gift’s manufacturing producer tweeted a teaser pic of what looks like…a Chizuru plush?! Gift has released all of the pursuable characters in the Hakuouki games as adorable plushies, so it was a matter of time that Chizuru, the heroine, should be released next, right?! I’m incredibly stoked at the chance to finally own this plush! I will be keeping an eye on Gift’s twitter accounts to see when more teaser pics go up or if there’s any word on its release date. This plush might be unveiled at the upcoming WonderFes event on July 26th.

Until next time, happy collecting!
