Tokimeki Radio Episode 4 – Mobage Takeover, Badass Otome Rumble and Anime Expo Hype!

It’s that time, ya’ll. Welcome to another episode of Tokimeki Radio! ✨ Thank you for your patience while waiting for the episode to be released; work has been kinda hectic, but it’s been fun, so I can’t complain at all. We might do something special for when we’re at Anime Expo, but that really depends on whether I have enough room in my suitcase for my mic…so we’ll see! Without further delay…here’s episode 4!

I say this every time, but I really want to express my gratitude for tuning in for every single episode…I really appreciate that people like what we do, and that makes me want to work harder to produce more content for you all. Thank you all so much for your love and support! 💖

For every person that listens, comments, RTs, follows, we appreciate you all so much. To commemorate our Twitter account hitting a milestone, we have a little giveaway prepared! If you RT the tweet on @TokimekiRadio that contains the 4th episode release info, you’ll be entered to win a Steam copy of How to Take Off Your Mask! You have until this Sunday, June 19th to participate, so if you want in, you know what to do.

A little heads-up: it’s summer, and my AC is on constantly. I live in an old apartment building, and the AC unit is a bit noisy, so you’ll be hearing a bit of a hum throughout this episode.

In our fourth episode, we talked about games that released in the month of May. We also talked about the disastrous E2 Gaming situation and our thoughts on the whole thing. We made a mention on how it’s been a full year since Aksys Games announced the localizations of Code: Realize and Norn9 with our wishes for more otome games to come in the future. We expressed our surprise when it was revealed that the makers of the Love Live app are making an Uta no Prince-sama app. Another thing we talked about was Style Savvy, and how Nintendo FINALLY made my wish come true! Also, we celebrated over Monstrous Lovers’ success of hitting their goal for their game! 🎉 With Anime Expo coming up soon, we talked about how Voltage and Cybird  are bringing in some exclusive goods for sale at the convention’s dealer’s room. And finally, we talked about the games we’ve been playing recently. Please give our show a listen if any of this sounds like your cup of tea. Thank you for your support! 💕

  1. Great episode! I’ve heard of Style Savvy and wasn’t interested, but from hearing how much you guys are excited about it I might pick it up. I was wondering if either of you guys will consider playing Cheritz’ new game, Mystic Messengers, that’s coming out next week?

Style Savvy is SO GOOD and a game that you can see that was put together with great care. It’s worth checking it out, for sure!

And yes yes YES, we’ll be playing Mystic Messengers! I got this special set on their website: https://shop.cheritz.com/en/shop/view_merchandise/310 . Unfortunately, I won’t be able to play until after Anime Expo is over because there’s so much work to be done beforehand. 😦
